Black and White Octagon shaped card

Hello crafty people.

    Today I'm sharing a black and white octagon shaped card.

I didn't have a die for this I actually worked it out, then cut the different layers 

separately, each one smaller that the last. After I had done it "lightbulb moment"

why didn't I just download the shape and adjust the different layers. 

The card measures  aprox 7x7 

Black and White card sock.

Embossed the last layer with a Sue Wilson embossing folder .

The ovals are also Sue Wilson.

Memory flourish die cut.

I drew the  flowers with an embossing pen, then embossed in white.

Fuchsia Card

Hi crafty people.

A card I made while trying out a Fuchsia flower.

I used 2 different punches for the flowers. One I coloured pink and the other

I coloured green for the leaves at the top.

The corner dies are really Die-sire fairy lights rectangle dies that I have cut in half and used for the corners. The leaves I have had for  a while and can't remember the make.

Finished off with little butterflies and tiny pearls.

Mothers day exploding box

Hi all crafty people.

Another beautiful day today. 

Today I've got a Mothers day exploding  box.

The lid  I drew the flowers onto velum with glue pen so that I could emboss them.

The sides are embossed.

There is a smaller box inside for a small present.

I have cut 5 paper squares from paperback from the works.

The little box in the centre is made for the same paper back.

trimmed with a flower from Tim Holtz flower die.

Cut the oval four times and the dove twice.

Pink Daisies

The butterfly is a do crafts and the daisy flowers die is from Cherry Lynn.

Mothers day card

Morning crafty people. Well we have had a bit of everything with the weather this last few day.

This morning we had a snow showers, well more like hail. Hope its a bit better where you are.

Iris card

Hello all you crafty people.

Beautiful outside at the moment but it took a while.

Todays card is another Iris one I made a while ago again. 

I kept experimenting with the shape and colouring it

 till I get it looking something like a Iris.

this is the result.

Mother's Day exploding box

Morning all crafty people, still cold out there even though its a it brighter.

Today I have a Mothers day exploding box I made for an order.

The lady wanted to put a some present inside so I made a small box for the centre.

Iris card

Morning all crafty people. Hope you are all having a good day.

This is a card I made a while ago now. I wanted to practice making Iris flowers.

I had some images from Making cards mag of different flowers, so I used the iris one as a background to the irises I made. Thank you for looking.

Wedding Card

Hello all you crafty people.

Well first day of Spring, the weather is a bit brighter today after the snow yesterday.

I would like to share a octagon wedding card 

                                 I cut and  octagon shape 3 times, each one 1cm smaller than the last.
                                                             The centre one I embossed
                                 Used a Sue Wilson Oval die Grace  in the centre various flourish
                                 dies and curled strips. The flowers I cut heart shape and drew the
                             round the edges and the lines with an embossing pen then heat embossed.
                                                                   Pearl embellishments.
