Wedding Card

Hello Crafty People.
Been a bit busy here at the moment.
So trying to catch up.
This is a card I made for a work colleague who was getting married.
The colours she is getting married in, are gold and red, with lilies for the flowers.
I used 8x8 card stock and mat and layered with red and gold card.
Embossed the white card with one of Sara Davis's embossing folders.
The hearts or from the unbranded range, Cut one in gold and one in white.

I cut out an image of couple holding hands and placed in underneath the white heart.
The lilies are Heartfelt Creation lilies stamp. Don't have the die so cut out by hand.
The congratulations is another unbranded die.

Happy Birthday Roses

Hello crafty people.
Hope the weather has been nice were you are.
This card is from a while ago, it was a freebie from a magazine.

It was an embossing folder with a rose stamp.
I stamped a background and coloured with distress inks.
Used the embossing folder, the centre was plain but I cut it out so you could see the background behind.
The Roses are hand cut and shaped, there is cosmic glass sprinkles on the edge of the petals.
Leaves die cuts.
The stamped Happy Birthday on card and coloured the edges with the same dusky pink distress ink.
Finished off with a ribbon bow.

Foamiran Flowers

                                                                  Hello crafty people,
Hope you are all having a good day.
I thought I
would share some of the foamrian flowers Ive been messing with.
These are lily shaped flowers

These flowers I cut from a die of eBay, but I think dies are too wasteful.
so the photo underneath is the same die I cut in paper the drew round it
and cut by hand. The foamrian is about  99p a sheet for A4.
I found I got more flowers out of the sheet if I hand cut them.

I used distress
 inks to colour them.
The centre of these flowers I used the offcuts.
These smaller flowers I made by cutting squares in the shape of the flowers.
just experimenting to see the best way to get the most out of a sheet.
These are coloured with the oil pastels. They are better if you want a deeper colour.

These little rose buds are all the little bits of foam I cut into tiny petal shapes.
Then stuck them round a ball of tinfoil. The leaves I did in the same way. A bit fiddly
but I managed to get 5 rosebuds out of the tiny scraps from three sheets.
Hoping the next lot will be a lot better after the lessons I've learnt.

Wednesday 10 May 2017

Hello crafty people.
Hope the weather is sunny where you are today.
Just going through all my card photos and
this is a card I made a while ago.
I tried to draw Irises from photos, I managed to make a template
in the end by taking a silk one to pieces.
The lilies are stamped hand cut.
The border die is from Heartfelt Creations
The background card is Hunkdory .
Just used peeloffs to finish off.
This photo shows the colours of better.

Thank you for your comments I really appreciate them.

Tuesday 9 May 2017

Hello Crafty People.
I'm really behind with the blog, so busy struggling to fit everything in.
So today I've just finished a card trying out new scribble dies.
I cut the card and embossed it a while ago and came across it the other day sorting stuff out.
I decided to back the circles with a stamped background, so I used distress inks to colour and then stamped over with written stamp.
I used the scribble dies from China to fill the circles up.
The flowers are just hand cut and coloured with distress inks.

Hand made flowers

Stamped background under the circles.
8x8 cards
The Sara Davis embossing folder, its to nice to hide
although you can't see it that well.
Ribbon and tiny butterflies to finish off.
Thank you for looking.

hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend.

I made a picture frame for my daughter to take to a baby shower party.

I left the centre of the frame so that the new parents can add a photo when the new born arrives.
The background is in dusky pink. and the die cuts are Pearlised card.
The flowers are orchid stamp on vellum and  embossed with white and pink embossing powder.
One of my little babies in the flowers.
